The Submix is a 4 x 1 mixer module designed to fi t the 500 series format. It enables you to combine multiple audio stems such as line level devices, keyboards and effects together and route them as needed. You simply connect the source instruments to the ¼” unbalanced inputs on the front panel and mix using the four controls. The mixed signal is sent to the XLR output on the rear panel of the power rack where it can then feed another 500 series module, mixer or your recording system. The mixer itself is very quiet. It employs Radial’s unique VariState gain control whereby input sensitivity and gain are simultaneously adjusted to ensure noise is kept to a minimum. The Submix is 100% compatible with all 500 series racks and when plugged into a Radial Workhorse, the Omniport enables two or more Submix modules to be combined to create a larger 8x1 or 12x1 mixer.
