External power supplies are often very unreliable. They overheat, clog up power strips and are not suitable for continuous use.

xVision converters boast a professional-grade integrated power supply with a lockable powerCON® TRUE1 connector. This will run efficiently 24/7 which lessens reliability problems and also means you don't have to replace and dispose of dead power supplies, saving you time and money in the long run.

Protected Connectors

The xVision's rugged, tour-ready enclosure is designed to survive all applications. Steel plates 6.35mm in thickness house the inner components from top and bottom and also protrude on all 4 corners to protect the outer features of the unit.

All signal connectors are recessed into the unit's chassis which hugely reduces the risk of damage when the unit is inevitably dropped by a clumsy stage-hand. Not only will this simple innovation save you time and money in replacing units, it will also give you the peace of mind that your video converter will survive a silly accident and will not put a stop to your event.

Magnetic Stacking

You've all seen just how chaotic a video technician's worktop can be. Unlike the sound engineer or lighting tech, they don't have the luxury of an all-purpose console that does everything in one unit, so are often left with a medley of cables leading to various units, each with a specific job.

xVision has a couple of simple solutions to help tidy up that chaotic worktop. All models share the same footprint and magnetised outer chassis, meaning they can be easily stacked. Not only does this makes better use of the worktop space. Not only that, the grippy non-skid rubber pads on the bottom of every unit prevent the converters from sliding around or indeed off the worktop when cables are accidentally tugged.

On-field ID

All xVision devices have a colour and letter ID to quickly identify the product series and a letter to indicate where about in the signal flow the unit should be placed. These intuitive on-field IDs will help speed up deployment and also ease delegation as the stage hand only has to know the colour and letter, rather than the technology behind the unit.

Distribution Amplifiers

xVision Distribution Amplifiers come in 1:4 and 1:8 for SDI and 1:4 for HDMI and DisplayPort. Line Delay units can also be used to delay the video signal for larger applications where screens need to be synced with the audio as it travels further back into the audience.

There is also an SDI repeater which will extend your SDI signal chain by a further 100 metres.

The xPressCue Media Player is a dedicated hardware solution for seamless 4K video playback.

A laptop is often used to drive video content for small-medium sized events but this comes with a slew of reliability issues and when it goes wrong, a steep learning curve. The xPressCue offers a reliable 1RU alternative incorporating professional features expected by AV production companies and video technicians alike. It supports all common video, picture and audio formats, has 1TB of solid-state storage, locking connectors and an integrated power supply but most importantly, does not require a computer for setup or operation.

The xPressCue is controlled by its web-based GUI, the integrated OLED display and encoder wheel, lighting formats DMX/ArtNET/sACN or by an Elgato Streamdeck controller for quick and easy table-top operation.
