Online Orders

For Payment with Order customers (PWO) all website payments are taken at checkout via SagePay, a secure payment gateway service. We accept most major credit cards except for American Express.

Credit Account customers can also place orders online and select the Pay on Account option at checkout. These goods will be added to your credit account and payment is required within 7 days of invoice date. We ask that customers clear any outstanding credit amounts via bank transfer (BACS).

Orders through the Sales Team

We encourage all payment for orders taken by our sales team are made by bank transfer (BACs) but also accept card payments via the SagePay online portal. 

We offer a credit facility where customers can order their goods now and pay for them later. Credit Accounts are set up on a negotiated basis with the customer and are based on our relationship with that customer, the customer’s purchase history and the commitment of regular future orders. The amount of monthly credit given will also be negotiated during this discussion, where we work with the customer to establish what amount is appropriate.

All outstanding amounts on credit must be cleared within 14 days of invoice date. To encourage prompt payment from our customers, we offer an extra 5% discount on all orders where the outstanding amount is cleared within 7 days of invoice date. This is advertised on all products as the NET Price.

You can place an order either on our trade website or through our sales team. Our website is an extension to our sales team who can tell you what products are in stock instantly on the phone, give you rough lead times from our manufacturers / suppliers and also answer any technical questions you may have on sound, lighting and video. How to place an order on our website:

  1. Once logged in, add a product to your basket
    1. Open the product
    2. Add your required quantity
    3. Click the "Add to basket" button
  2. Once you've added all of your items to your basket, go to "Basket > My Basket" in the main navigation at the top of your screen
  3. Once on the My Basket page, click the "Checkout" button
  4. Follow the steps on the page:
    1. Choose a delivery speed
    2. Add any shipping or delivery notes
    3. Add a Customer Order Reference (required field)
    4. Accept the terms and conditions
    5. Proceed to payment using the buttons at the bottom

Special Trade Pricing

We apply special trade pricing we are able to offer more discount than usual through bulk buying or a special purchase with our manufacturer / supplier. We list these items as Special Trade Pricing as opposed to Clearance so we do not de-value the item or perception of the item's value to the customer.

Clearance

Anything in our clearance section is priced appropriately to clear. Typically, these may be discontinued items, B-Grade items or items we no longer have access to but wish to clear from our inventory.

Our pricing structure consists of 4 levels:

  1. RRP: This is the official Recommended Retail Price given by the manufacturer, also known as SRP, MSRP, etc.
  2. Trade Price: As a trade customer, this is the price you will pay for the item.
  3. Special Trade Price or Clearance Price: A promotion on a product only around for a limited time.
  4. Net Price: Includes our 5% Prompt Payment Discount, automatically applied to all orders paid for upfront. 

*By paying for your goods upfront you automatically take advantage of Net Price*

To encourage prompt payment, we offer an additional 5% discount on the order total including carriage. This is advertised on our trade website as the NET Price.

NET Price = Trade Price – 5%

OR

NET Price: = Special Trade or Clearance Price – 5% (where special pricing is applied)

 

For example:

Item 1

RRP: £100.00

Trade Price: £60.00 (Trade discount = 40%)

Special Trade Price:  n/a

Net Price: £57.00

 

Item 2 (Special Trade / Clearance Price)

RRP: £100.00

Trade Price: £60.00 (Trade discount = 40%)

Special Trade / Clearance: £40.00

Net Price: £38.00

 

We offer a credit account facility where customers can pay order their goods and pay for them later. Prompt Payment Discount was introduced to encourage customers to clear their account within the agreed period of 7 days of invoice date. If they over run these 7 days, they lose the 5% discount and have to pay the trade price.

Payment with Order Customers

For payment with order customers using our trade website we require payment to be made upfront via SagePay and when placing an order on the phone to our sales team, payment must be made upfront via bank transfer (BACS) or card.

For payment with order customers payment must be received before the goods are despatched.

Credit Account Customers

Credit account customers typically have 14 days of invoice date to make payment for the full order value and 7 days of invoice to achieve the 5% PPD (Prompt Payment Discount), advertised on our trade website and quote documentation as Net price.
