2023 - and that's a wrap!

We’re very proud to say that 2023 has been yet another milestone year for Leisuretec! Our business has grown in many departments as we continue moving forward in pursuit of our vision: to continue to be your first choice and to be the UK’s most recognised and warmly regarded trade distributor in our sector. We’re proud of our team who have been incredible this year, and would like to take this opportunity to wish you, and your families, a Very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
But before we go again in 2024, let’s take some time to reflect on 2023. We think you’ll agree it’s flown by. Time flies when you’re having fun I guess! When you’re motoring forward towards your goals it’s often easy to forget what you have achieved and to give yourself a much-deserved well done.
What have you achieved in 2023? Here are some of our highlights:
1. New Team Members
Team turnover is natural for every business and we’re proud to say that when people join Leisuretec, they’re usually here to stay. This year, however, we're not embarrassed to say we've seen an uncharacteristic amount of people move onto new adventures as they have followed their personal goals and pursuits.
This year we have welcomed eight new faces to Leisuretec. And they are all doing a fantastic job. April saw Matt join us in Technical Sales from a Live Audio Engineering background. If you’ve spoken to Matt on the phone you’ll know that he knows his stuff! In May we welcomed Jazz to the marketing team and Clover back to sales. Jazz has been instrumental in creating customer case studies and Clover has been integral to our sales service, answering your calls with a smile and fulfilling your orders accurately and efficiently, all whilst learning technical sales!
Kerri and Charlotte both joined in June, Kerri supporting the accounts purchase ledger and Charlotte getting her teeth stuck into purchasing; keeping on top of back-order ETAs and building relationships with suppliers. Emma and Conor both joined the Sales Team in October. They've both settled in very quickly and have hugely contributed to keeping up with the end-of-year spike in demand. Rob also joined our Customer Service team in October to help bolster our after-sales service and care.

2. More Brands!
This year we welcomed a handful of new brands including new technology and a wider choice of audio products to suit all budgets. We are now stocking:
- StudioMaster - professional audio equipment ideal for applications or projects with smaller budgets
- Li.LAC Microphone Disinfector – an innovative product built to make your microphone cleaning procedure quick and easy
- Theatrixx Technologies – manufacturers of innovative video conversion and playback solutions built for reliability and longevity. We’re already celebrating 1 year of being their exclusive UK Trade Distributors and Stockists.
- JVC PTZ Cameras – a new technology for us, we’re now stockists of JVC’s KY series of Professional PTZ cameras, a reliable yet well-priced solution for live event streaming and broadcast applications. This offers a great new revenue stream (excuse the pun!) for event companies who are not already operating in this area but are looking to expand their service offering.
We’re always looking for new opportunities to offer you more and be your complete trade one-stop shop. Watch this space!
3. Let's get social!
This year we reached a HUGE 2,000 followers on Instagram! We try to post fun and educational content so if you don’t already, give us a follow and join our social community of industry professionals and enthusiasts. Find our handle @teamleisuretec on all channels.

4. Customer Case Studies
This year we’ve made it a mission to showcase our customers’ work by contacting and writing up case studies from their projects. There have been some great pieces created so far and we’re looking forward to doing more of this in the future. If you have a project you’re particularly proud of and we’ve helped source your equipment, please contact Jazz Crow at jcrow@leisuretec.co.uk and we can produce a case study.
5. More stock than ever!
We also included this in our 2022 highlights but our stock has grown even further this year. We continue to invest in our business and stock holding so we always have a product in stock that meets your budget and specification.
We're very transparent about our stock holding. Once logged into our trade website you can see just how much we have in stock which makes your life easier when planning your purchasing, as you know exactly what you can have next day.
