Our Products of the Month for June are from Theatrixx, designed to simplify video connectivity in professional AV environments: the 1:4 HDMI Distribution Amplifier Splitter and the HDMI/SDI Bidirectional Converter.
1:4 HDMI Distribution Amplifier Splitter
The Theatrixx 1:4 HDMI Distribution Amplifier Splitter allows a single HDMI source to be distributed to four displays simultaneously. Supporting resolutions up to 4K at 60Hz, it is well suited to applications where high-quality video needs to be delivered across multiple screens, including conferences, exhibitions, live events and corporate installations.
By distributing one source across four outputs, the splitter helps simplify signal management and reduces the need for more complex routing arrangements. Its support for high-resolution video makes it a practical choice for modern AV systems using 4K displays.
Designed with professional environments in mind, the splitter also features secure, screw-locking HDMI connections that help prevent accidental disconnections.
HDMI/SDI Bidirectional Converter
For greater connectivity flexibility, the Theatrixx HDMI/SDI Bidirectional Converter provides a convenient way to work with HDMI and SDI equipment within the same system. It accepts either HDMI or SDI input and provides simultaneous HDMI and SDI outputs, helping bridge different video formats without requiring separate conversion devices for each signal path.
This makes it useful for production teams working with cameras, computers, monitors and other video equipment. By combining multiple connectivity options in one compact unit, the converter can help simplify setup and make it easier to adapt to different production requirements.
The converter also features two SDI outputs, allowing it to support signal distribution in suitable configurations. This additional functionality makes it a valuable tool for live events, broadcast applications and corporate AV, where flexible signal routing can be essential.
A Practical Addition to Your AV Inventory
Both Theatrixx converters offer useful solutions for common video connectivity challenges. The 1:4 HDMI Splitter provides straightforward distribution to multiple displays, while the HDMI/SDI Bidirectional Converter offers flexible conversion and additional SDI distribution capabilities in a compact format.
For AV professionals and equipment hire companies, these features can help simplify system configuration, improve flexibility and ensure the right connectivity options are available for different projects.
