Our Product of the Month for April is the Martin Professional MAC Aura XIP, a versatile moving head wash light designed to deliver powerful performance, creative flexibility and reliable operation in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Powerful Performance and Enhanced Control
Building on the success of the MAC Aura XB, the MAC Aura XIP offers a range of improvements designed to give lighting operators greater flexibility. Its full pixel control and compatibility with Martin’s P3 system enable detailed visual effects and video mapping, opening up new creative possibilities for live productions, concerts and events.
Whether you're creating dynamic lighting effects or delivering a consistent stage wash, the MAC Aura XIP provides the control and versatility needed to bring your designs to life.
Designed for Indoor and Outdoor Events
The MAC Aura XIP features Martin’s XIP smart weatherproofing technology, allowing it to perform reliably across a wide range of indoor and outdoor applications. This makes it a practical choice for everything from theatres and live music venues to festivals and outdoor productions.
Weighing just 9kg, the fixture is also lightweight and easy to rig, helping simplify installation and making it particularly useful for touring productions and temporary event setups.
Convenient Setup and Flexible Configuration
The MAC Aura XIP includes a battery-powered display, allowing lighting professionals to configure the fixture before it is rigged. This convenient feature can save time during setup and makes it easier to prepare equipment efficiently, particularly when working with multiple fixtures or in challenging installation environments.
Combined with its lightweight design and extensive connectivity options, the MAC Aura XIP is built to make life easier for lighting technicians without compromising on creative potential.
Creative Effects with RGBW LED Filament Macros
One of the standout features of the MAC Aura XIP is its individually adjustable 12 RGBW LED filament macros, which introduce an additional creative dimension to lighting design.
These controllable elements allow operators to create distinctive visual effects, adding depth and movement to a performance. For example, you could create a dramatic entrance effect before transitioning seamlessly into a full stage wash.
This combination of expressive effects and powerful wash capabilities makes the MAC Aura XIP a versatile tool for designers looking to create more engaging and immersive live experiences.
A Powerful and Versatile Moving Head Wash
Its lightweight construction, battery-powered display and individually controllable LED filament macros make it equally appealing to touring professionals, production companies and venues looking for greater creative control.
