The DM5 Compact is a Dante-equipped versatile digital mixing console with unparalleled sound quality, ease of operation, and high reliability that make it perfect for a wide range of applications. The DM5 Compact is configured with 13 faders and a 1 x 13.3” + 1 x 4.3” multi-touch screen with glass keys.
Designed for small to mid-sized live sound, corporate events, houses of worship, theatre and broadcast, the Yamaha DM5 and DM5 Compact feature up to 64 in/out of industry-standard Dante networking at 96 kHz, 24 mix busses, 12 matrices, 12 DCAs, two stereo busses, 18 channels of USB I/O, and Bluetooth audio playback.
The DM5 features 32 analogue inputs, 16 analogue outputs, 60 input channels, twin fader bays and main screens, with tactile glass keys featuring dynamic status display. The DM5 Compact has 16 analogue inputs/outputs and 48 input channels, with a single fader bay and screen in a half-width chassis. The main display can be adjusted to four different angles.
Both feature a 16 slot onboard effects rack with 43 versatile, high quality effects, a PY series card slot for further processing or additional I/O and a secondary, customisable touchscreen.
Optional extended feature packages for broadcast and theatre applications are available, as well as additional Dan Dugan auto mixing.

- Unlike buttons with printed function names, these keys built into the display can change their labels dynamically to match their functions. For example, when Sends of Fader is active, the "ON" key label changes to "SEND ON".

- Located within easy reach of the operator, the 4.3-inch display features six glass keys that can be freely assigned parameters. The display can also be configured to display the User Defined Keys and Fader Bank Select to suit your preferences.
- Four User Defined Knobs beside the screen provide flexible hands-on control, allowing the operator to assign their preferred parameters as they like. In addition, Dynamic Mode automatically follows selections in Selected Channel View and assigns the relevant function parameters, combining intuitive operation with customisable control tailored to each operator's workflow
