Our Product of the Month for May is the Avantis Solo; a portable and highly versatile digital mixing console that brings the power of the original Avantis engine into a more portable format.
Compact Design, Powerful Performance
If you're putting together a front-of-house setup, the Avantis Solo deserves a place on your shortlist. Allen & Heath have taken the core technology of the original Avantis and packed it into a smaller, more portable console without compromising on performance.
Despite its compact footprint, the Avantis Solo provides 64 inputs, 42 buses and 96kHz processing, powered by ultra-low-latency FPGA technology. All of this is housed in a rugged unit weighing less than 20kg, making it a practical choice for both touring and fixed applications.
Flexible Connectivity and Expansion
The Avantis Solo is designed to make system integration straightforward, with SLink built in as standard. This provides a plug-and-play connection to remote I/O expanders, while also allowing the console to integrate seamlessly with other Allen & Heath systems, including dLive.
For even greater flexibility, the Avantis Solo features two optional I/O ports. These allow you to expand the system with additional connectivity options, including Dante, MADI and GigaACE cards.
Extensive Processing and Control
Alongside its impressive input and bus capacity, the Avantis Solo gives you access to a growing library of DEEP processing plugins, providing plenty of options for shaping and controlling your mix.
Combined with its pristine 96kHz audio performance and ultra-low-latency FPGA processing, the result is a powerful mixing platform that offers plenty of capability without the size and weight of a larger console.
A Powerful, Portable Mixing Solution
With its compact design, extensive I/O options and powerful processing capabilities, the Avantis Solo offers an impressive combination of performance and portability.
Whether you're building a front-of-house system for live events or looking for a flexible digital mixing console that can integrate with a wider Allen & Heath setup, the Avantis Solo provides a powerful and adaptable solution.
