Built-in Wi-Fi for Cloud and Streaming Access
With built-in Wi-Fi, DJs can access cloud-based music libraries and supported streaming services directly from the player. That includes music from Apple Music, Beatport and TIDAL, as well as rekordbox CloudDirectPlay via Google Drive or Dropbox.
For hospitality venues regularly welcoming different DJs, this makes it easier for performers to arrive and access their music. And for DJs who still prefer to manage their track library with a USB stick, they can simply plug in using the cleverly positioned USB port inside the front bay, keeping things neat and easily accessible.
QR Code and NFC Touch Login
DJs can scan the on-screen QR code or use NFC touch login with their smartphone to quickly access their cloud-based music library and supported streaming services. Again, this is particularly useful for venues with multiple or guest DJs, helping different performers get up and running quickly.
CoBeat: Bringing the Audience Into the Mix
One of the more unusual features of the CDJ-1500X is CoBeat, which creates a direct connection between the DJ and the audience. Guests can use their smartphones to send messages and song requests to the DJ, which can then be viewed directly on the CDJ-1500X display. For bars, clubs and hospitality venues, it's a clever way of making the DJ experience more interactive while giving the performer another way to understand the mood of the room.
Make It Your Own
