Audio Visual One Upgrade Leeds Bar with RCF
The Restaurant Bar and Grill Leeds, a prominent establishment within a former 200-year-old Grade II-Listed post office, embarked on a £2m refurbishment project. As part of this endeavour, the venue was looking to upgrade their existing sound system to enhance the overall dining and entertainment experience for customers.
The project demanded a high-end system capable of delivering quality audio across multiple zones, including the main bar area, restaurant, mezzanine, and newly envisioned outdoor seating area. Audio Visual One (AV One) chosen for their expertise, recognised the need for a comprehensive audio solution that would cater to the diverse needs of the venue.
AV One Director Stephen Bailey turned to the Leisuretec team (with whom he had a long-standing relationship) to supply the job at hand. Having heard RCF’s COMPACT M speakers at an event in Coventry the year before, he designed the whole system to incorporate RCF speakers and needed tailored amps and subs to go with them.
He opted for four White M12 speakers, renowned for their performance and reliability, accompanied by an RCF S8015LP Subwoofer and two IPS 1.5K amplifiers in the bar area. Two further S8015LP Subs were placed across the restaurant with the support of the IPS 2.5K amplifier to ensure consistent audio quality.
With meticulous attention to detail, Stephen crafted a solution that optimised audio coverage across the various sections of the venue. His expertise ensured that the RCF speakers seamlessly blended performance, aesthetics, and budget considerations, providing an immersive audio experience for customers while preserving the venue's historic ambience.
