Vision Trade Hire is an AV rental company specialising in projection, TVs, IT equipment and processing and control. Based in Glasgow, they supply events companies within the central belt and further across the UK. It’s important, therefore, to always have the best products on hand.
After coming across Theatrixx and specifically xVision video converters, they haven't looked back. Their primary use for xVision is to enhance and upmarket their hire stock and to supply other events companies and clients with a premium product that they have faith in and know will complement their upcoming events.
Following discussions with Kris from Theatrixx UK and Leisuretec’s technical specialists, they knew that xVision would suit their exact needs. They were constantly facing challenges with other brands of converters and distribution amplifiers, whether that being power failures or physical failures to the units. They could no longer trust the kit to go out to a client without there being a risk at any point.
The range of xVision converters were able to eliminate all these problems. With their clear robustness and the removal of dipswitches, Vision Trade Hire was immediately on board. The other features that really stuck out were the use of True1 power in and out, instead of flimsy power supply connections. They also jumped at the variety of choices for rigging and installing, through magnets, clamps or straps, as this has added additional flexibility to a host of different events. How the converters and processors really work with reclocking and amplifying a signal is a perfect feature and really comes in useful in the day-to-day running of an event. As a bonus, UK Sales Manager Kris was always at the end of the phone to help with technical support at installs.
